Learn all aspects of digital photography in this six-part, hands-on workshop with Lanae King, a visiting artist with a MFA in Photography. Great for beginners or those looking to hone their photography skills. Participants must provide their own camera/phone.
Individual classes include:
March 16: Reflections & Refractions (Exploring how to use light and visual echoes to take more interesting photographs)
March 23: Creative Composition (Practicing various ways to incorporate more variety into the photographs you take)
March 30: Using Textures Creatively (Using textured layers to add more visual interest to images)
April 6: Creative Portraits (How to tell a compelling story about a person without focusing on their face)
April 13: Creative Color (Creating strong visual patterns through the use of complementary or monochromatic color)
April 20: Putting it All Together (Using all of your new skills!)
